Thanks, Google!

I'm really struggling with ideas for our 2nd project. Every idea I come up with seems impossible to execute with graphics and not look like a 5-year-old put it together. Some of my favorite parts of the day are when I Google something and while I'm typing in my search, Google tries to finish it for me with their suggestions. I figured I'd try this today and see what Google came up with for project ideas. This is what I got:

How to tie a tie
How to train your dragon
How to cook corn on the cob
How to write a cover letter
How to cut a mango
How to hard boil eggs
How to make french toast
How to roll a joint
How to grill corn
How to make jello shots

I purposely used a browser that did not have me logged onto Google, so these aren't MY searches. I swear! What are these, anyway? The most popular searches that start with "how to"? I actually don't know how to do any of the things listed above, so they aren't exactly great ideas for my project, but they did give me a chuckle.

Back to the drawing board for me, I guess.

  1. I am having the same problem! Everything I come up with seems like a potential good idea, but I have no idea how to execute it. It is either to difficult, to simple, or I simply have no idea how to actually do that thing. This post made me chuckle because I actually did the exact same thing and saw many of those "how to's." I thought it was quite amusing what google automatically comes up with.
