Ok. I know a lot of apps do this. And I wasn't sure I was going to post this one as my favorite until today, when this app and I had a defining moment. I wanted to read the news. All I had in front of me was my computer. I didn't know where to go!!!! I actually had to go get my iPad so that I could access this app and read the news. App: 1, self-sufficiency: 0.
The app is Flipboard. It compiles news/articles from all different sources and puts them together in a pretty format that looks newspaper/magazine-ish! It even looks like you are turning pages! Why would I go to the New York Times web site when I can go to Flipboard and get news from the New York Times, NPR, and thedailybeast.com on ONE page!
Psh, sold.
